Cochón Powers Thunder Hawks to 11-8 Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks beat the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 11-8, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Thunder Hawks got a fine performance from second baseman Orlando Cochón, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. Ft. Polk South has now won 4 games in a row.

Cochón contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Ft. Polk South in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Cochón took a fastball from Ricardo Rodríguez and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Thunder Hawks to leap in front, 4-2.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ft. Polk South skipper John Anderson.
