There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Jimmy Johns is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Imps Park today. The monster effort from the 23-year-old second baseman helped the Virginia Beach Whales take the win, 15-4.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Fighting Imps manager Gary Thomas. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Jimmy Johns hit a two-run home run off Jesús Moreno in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
