The Crescent City Krewe cruised to a win over the Richland Rails, 15-3, at Field of the Krewe. Shawn Franklin led the way, going 3-for-5 for Crescent City. Jeff Lynch earned the save for Crescent City, his 1st of the year. Richland is now 3-4.

Jesse Fisher took Timo Reinhardt deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Krewe on top, 3-0. In all, Fisher had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Franklin called the game "anything but a nail-biter."
