Quinton Lee pitched a gem to lead Barton Springs to victory over the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 3-1. Barton Springs reliever Katsunosuki Hirayama picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Josh Reynolds absorbed the loss. Sun-ho Yang finished the game for Barton Springs and earned his 19th save.
Had Octávio Obezo not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Obezo hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Blues.
Obezo called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
