The Bethesda Atoms overcame a good performance by Barton Springs right fielder Octávio Obezo to knock off Barton Springs, 8-5, at Blues Field. Obezo went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Carlos Rosas earned the save, his 4th. Bethesda, with the win, sits at 23-68.

Bethesda relied on the hitting of U-ram Chong to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Atoms on top, 5-0. For the game, Chong had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
