The Minnesota Loons beat the Barton Springs Blues, 4-3. Minnesota pitcher and Providence, Rhode Island, native Christian Adams led the way. Minnesota reliever Michael Kilshaw picked up the win to move to 3-1. Sun-ho Yang suffered the loss. Minnesota has a record of 41-43, placing them 7th in the Silver AA.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when right fielder Manuel Ortíz stepped to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Adams said in his postgame press conference.
