Pilgrims Walk It Off for 41st Win of Season
Jim McClain had a good game, but he could not keep the St. Petersburg Thunder from falling, 5-4, to the Providence Pilgrims at Field of Plenty. The St. Petersburg designated hitter was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 in the loss. The win belongs to Lodovico Tadini in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Marc Potts took the loss for St. Petersburg. The Pilgrims, at 41-32, sit in 4th place in the Silver AA.

The clutch hit was provided by Jacob Cox. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring double off Marc Potts in the bottom of the tenth.
