Barton Springs rode a decent outing from starter Chris Thompson to victory over the Minnesota Loons. The final score was 4-3. Thompson, now 3-4, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. Sun-ho Yang was credited with the save for Barton Springs, his 14th of the season.

The Blues took the lead in the bottom of the third when Raymond Parsons banged a two-out single. Barton Springs had been trailing 3-2, but Parsons hit a 0-2 curveball from Micheal Bly for a 2-run single.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Thompson said.

At 36-32, the Blues find themselves in 5th place in the Silver AA.
