Pine Island right-hander Gordon Benjamin helped his team edge Bethesda by the score of 3-2. Benjamin kept the opposing lineup in check. The win belongs to Benjamin Crump in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Joey Martin took the loss for Bethesda. The third-place Dolphins have a record of 39-23.

The Dolphins relied on shortstop John Maxwell for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
