Gómez Impressive in Barton Springs Win
Carlos Gómez never let Mercer Island get something going. The Barton Springs right-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Blues to a 2-0 win. Barton Springs's record now stands at 29-27, placing them 5th in the Silver AA.

The Screaming Eagles had trouble solving Gómez, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 6.1 innings.
