Lerwill Lifts Love Boats to 7-3 Triumph
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats beat the Bethesda Atoms by a score of 7-3. Lake Minnetonka center fielder Lucas Lerwill deserved the lion's share of the credit. Lerwill was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Love Boats. Lake Minnetonka reliever Boyd Vélez was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Júlio Rocho took the loss. Lake Minnetonka's record now stands at 29-27, placing them 6th in the Silver AA.

Lake Minnetonka took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bradley Whaley hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Love Boats.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Whaley. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
