Thomas Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dolphins
In a tight game between the Pine Island Dolphins and the Minnesota Loons, pitcher Octávio Bernard was terrific on the mound. The Pine Island right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. The win puts the Dolphins at 31-17, while the Loons drop to 20-28.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 1-1, right fielder Keith Thomas won it for Pine Island. With the bases loaded, Thomas hit a 0-2 sinker from George Murray for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Thomas.
