The Barton Springs Blues eked out a 3-2 win versus the St. Petersburg Thunder at Baby Thunder Dome. Nobody did more than pitcher Chris Thompson. He was terrific. Lee tai hoi Chen, now 2-3, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Barton Springs, at 24-22, occupies 6th place in the Silver AA.

Raymond Parsons, the 27-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Parsons contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Barton Springs up, 3-2.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Parsons told the Barton Springs Gazette.
