Thunder Need Extra Innings to Top Atoms, 8-6
Louis Bletsoe drove in 4 runs to help St. Petersburg defeat Bethesda, 8-6. The first baseman had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Thunder. Shusui Suzuki was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. St. Petersburg is in 7th place in the Silver AA with a record of 20-25.

Bletsoe had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 changeup from Rob Nichols, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Thunder a 8-6 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Bletsoe.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Bethesda manager Ted Hansen.
