Field of Plenty was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Providence Pilgrims and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats.

The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats dealt the Providence Pilgrims a 5-2 loss at Field of Plenty. Lucas Lerwill was the star on offense. He went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Troy Dalton earned the win for Lake Minnetonka. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0. Sing Song finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

The Love Boats grabbed the lead in the top of the second. With one out, Ted Ward hit a solo home run off Nicolas Gomes, putting Lake Minnetonka in front, 2-0. For Ward, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"Glad to get this win," said Ward. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."

The 4th-place Love Boats improved to 23-19.
