Dolphins Deal Blues 7-2 Setback
The Barton Springs Blues got a sterling performance from pitcher Curt Stokes, but the Pine Island Dolphins still prevailed, 7-2. Stokes threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. With the victory, the Dolphins record now stands at 27-15.

Pine Island used a clutch hit from Jorge Jáquez to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dolphins ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had a nice day," said Pine Island skipper Chua-kah Liu.
