Barton Springs rode a decent outing from starter Lane Stewart to victory over the Bethesda Atoms. The final score was 4-3. Sun-ho Yang finished the game for Barton Springs and earned his 4th save. With the victory, the Blues upped their record to 19-19.

Bruce Booth, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Booth contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Barton Springs up, 4-3.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Barton Springs manager Joe Kehoe.
