Barton Springs Blues starter Chris Thompson had all his pitches working at Blues Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-0 Barton Springs win over the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas. In 6.1 innings, Thompson surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. The 7th-place Blues lifted their record to 15-17.
Barton Springs took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Francisco Aguilar stroked a run-scoring triple to make it 1-0, Blues.
