St. Petersburg left fielder Getoff Mylawn had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Bethesda Atoms, 9-5. The Atoms fall to 5-15 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2050 season.

The Thunder took the lead in the bottom of the third when Melchor Tagle banged a two-out single. St. Petersburg had been trailing 1-0, but Tagle hit a first pitch fastball from Julián Figueroa for a 2-run single.

"We take it day by day here," said Mylawn, "and today was a good one for us."
