Shredders Hang 8-5 Loss on White Walkers
The Hollywood Shredders picked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, taking down the Buffalo White Walkers, 8-5. Starting pitcher Van Hileman was a big reason why. Hileman got the win, improving to 8-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. Hileman allowed 3 runs. Jeffery Meyers recorded the save for Hollywood, his 9th of the season.

The Shredders got an important contribution from designated hitter Oasiz Wiesblatt, who in the bottom of the third hit a fastball into left for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 4-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Wiesblatt said. "We did a good job of that today."

At 36-42, the Shredders are currently 6th in the Premier League.
