Leviathan Suffer 4-2 Setback
|
The Mockingbirds grabbed a win, 4-2, at Magnolia Park, overcoming a fine effort from Nova Scotia pitcher Andrew Johnson. Johnson went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Amberlan Romubio earned save number 9 this season. The Leviathan, at 31-45, have lost 4 straight games.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Ai-de Lau went deep for the Mockingbirds. With Mississippi trailing 2-0, he drilled a 2-run home run.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lau.
