Biggs Helps Toledo Outscore Montana
The Toledo Stingers grabbed a win, 15-11, over the Montana Pandas at Pacesetter Park. Toledo first baseman Alfred Howard Biggs went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Volmer Aalbers picked up the win, improving his season record to 12-6. He struck out 5 in 6.2 innings. James Brandon converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.

The Stingers got a big hit from designated hitter Mark Curry. In the bottom of the seventh, Curry pounded a grand slam home run to left-center. His 16th home run of the season put the Stingers ahead, 15-7.

"They're fun to watch and the hitters get to pad their stats but nobody's really happy about a game like that," Toledo manager TJ Reynolds. "I promise you I'm not happy."

The Stingers have an impressive 63-40 record.
