Pandas Edge Thunder Bay in Pitching Duel
|
Montana Pandas starter Salvador Heredia turned in an exceptional performance against the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Panda Park, resulting in a Montana win, 1-0. The victory makes Montana 33-68.
Pakomio Alepeleke drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Montana. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ralph Hanscombe. It was his 19th walk of the season.
"Salvador made his pitches," said Montana manager Andrew Schupick.
