Kingston Township got a terrific game from second baseman Grover Barbaran. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Oakland, 6-5. Barbaran went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Getting the save was Andy Dundee, his 29th. The Oaks now have a mark of 69-27.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Shawn Maldonado contributed a big hit for the Oaks. With Oakland trailing 5-3, he hammered a 2-run home run.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Oaks manager DAshley GoAs, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
