Nova Scotia Leviathan starter Mochihito Sato was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 4-1. Isaac Gunner was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 13 save opportunities. At 28-40, the Leviathan find themselves in 9th place in the Premier League.

Nova Scotia took a 3-1 lead on Seung-jae Kyong's 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off San Mateo pitcher Yin-reng Fong in the bottom of the seventh.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Sato told the Nova Scotia Daily News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
