The Nashville Outlaws got a stellar performance from pitcher Fernando Ríos, who handcuffed the St. Louis offense en route to a win, 5-1, at The BFIB. Ríos got the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. Ríos allowed 1 run. The loss makes St. Louis 35-48.

Nashville used a well-timed hit by Robbie McClellan to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Ríos. "But I have better dreams after a win."
