Knights Win 5-4 Walk-Off
|
The Kingston Township Knights topped the Nashville Outlaws, 5-4, in Menard's Third League action at Cloverdale Legion Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kingston Township pitcher Rodrigo García. Reliever Joo-hyun Pak picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Branlyn Jaraba took the loss. Kingston Township now owns a record of 30-21.
The Knights procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Jason Longoria. In the bottom of the 21st, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"It was a test of wills," said Rayzor Ray, the Kingston Township skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
