D.C. center fielder Ron Pollard contributed to his team's 9-1 win over the Toledo Stingers. Pollard, who is tied for 2nd in the 3L with a .644 slugging percentage, went 3 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Divided. José Espinosa got the win, improving to 3-1. He held the Stingers to 1 run on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. With the win, D.C. goes to 21-22, while the Stingers fall to 25-18.

With D.C. leading 5-0 in the top of the fourth, Pollard came up to bat against Toledo pitcher Jong-beom Park. Pollard hit a sinker to left for a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Divided on top, 9-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Pollard said after the game.
