The Monongahela Monsters scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Austin Black Mambas at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Monongahela pitcher Brian Folger held his own in the contest. Folger got the win, improving to 5-4. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Folger allowed 3 runs. Monongahela goes to 49-33, Austin to 32-50.

Monongahela took a 4-3 lead on Stanley Good's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Austin pitcher Dan Sanders in the bottom of the seventh.
