Loss to Monsters Extends Pennsauken Losing Streak
|
The Monongahela Monsters got a stellar performance from pitcher Andrés García, who handcuffed the Pennsauken offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Pennsauken Park. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Pennsauken.
Brenton Hale, the 25-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hale contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Monongahela up, 2-0.
"Tough loss," said Pennsauken manager Carlos Vela. "But we'll learn from it."
