Norfolk and Pennsauken duked it out and the Pajaritos came out victorious.

Despite a fine performance by catcher Jin-song Au-Yong, the Pennsauken Flyers lost to the Norfolk Pajaritos, 7-6. Au-Yong went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Alex Richardson was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.

Joel Costello, who is tied for 3rd in the SAAA in triples with 3, aided the Norfolk cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.

"I still think this team can play even better," Costello told the Norfolk Daily.

The first-place Pajaritos have won 14 consecutive games.
