Flyers Get Past Bakersfield for 4-3 Win
Bakersfield shortstop Dave Scott was sensational. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Pennsauken beat the Nobles, 4-3. The win belongs to Carlos Sainz in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Bertrand Scotton took the loss for Bakersfield. Pennsauken now sits in 7th place in the Silver AAA at 29-41.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Lucas Holland came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Bakersfield pitcher Bertrand Scotton, he hit a 3-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Pennsauken on top, 4-3.

Holland called the win "a collective effort."
