The Pennsauken Flyers defeated the Ft. Myers Marlins, 5-0, in USSL Triple A action at Pennsauken Park. Pennsauken pitcher Luis Fernández had a standout performance. The Flyers now have a record of 28-41.

Making an impact for the home team was Andrew McCaffery. In the bottom of the fourth, the 22-year old right fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Flyers.

"I know we have our doubters," said Ft. Myers manager Morton Kelly. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
