Monsters Deal Golden Cranes 4-2 Setback
|
The Monongahela Monsters got a stellar effort from pitcher Renault Daddi, helping Monongahela score a win over the visiting Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 4-2. The Monsters are now 39-27, while the Golden Cranes fall to 31-35.
Had Joy-shan Tung delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Tung lined out. The score remained 4-2, Monongahela, and the Monsters were out of the jam.
