The Norfolk Pajaritos defeated the Austin Black Mambas, 8-3, at Norfolk Field today. Leading the charge for Norfolk was left fielder Javier Bruno. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Alex Richardson, who threw 101 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits. The Pajaritos own a robust 46-20 mark.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Bruno hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Pajaritos into the lead, 2-0.
