Pajaritos Rally to Eke Out Win
The Norfolk Pajaritos wiggled past the Austin Black Mambas, 3-2, at Norfolk Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Norfolk pitcher Burian Polyn. Dan Smith earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-0. With the victory, the Pajaritos upped their record to 44-20.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Norfolk shortstop José Altagracia, facing Eric Ramírez, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Pajaritos the 3-2 win.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager José Rodríguez.
