Austin catcher Truman Posner had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-4, to Bakersfield at Jerome Grounds. Posner went 3-3 with 3 singles. Mitch Henley, now 4-4, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Bakersfield is now 40-20, Austin 25-35.

Pablo Peñaranda electrified the crowd in the bottom of the tenth when he took Austin pitcher Eric Ramírez deep. His 2-run home run sent the Nobles home winners.
