Nobles Win at Pennsauken, 3-0
|
Bakersfield starter Jason Miller pitched well against the Pennsauken Flyers at Pennsauken Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-0. The win puts Bakersfield at 20-13 this season.
Dave Scott didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to put Bakersfield on top, 2-0.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Bakersfield manager Jesús Román said.
