The Hartford Pride racked up a win at Crane Field, bumping off the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 6-4. Yu-eh Wang, who started for Hartford, pitched effectively for his team. Jeremy Bearimy closed it out for his 5th save. Hartford goes to 7-3 with the win.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Tom Dyer came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Santa Barbara pitcher Joel Vaughn, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hartford on top, 5-4.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Dyer.
