Kansas rode a decent outing from starter Byron Vyse to victory over the Hialeah Dodos. The final score was 5-4. Reliever Víctor Ramírez picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Jack Elvidge took the loss. Today's win puts Kansas at 48-52, while Hialeah falls to 34-66.

Jason Durkin was the walk-off hero for Kansas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rainbeaus designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
