Hallworth Impressive in Baton Rouge Win
|
Baton Rouge starter Kane Hallworth had a strong outing against the Sacramento Redlegs at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Baton Rouge is 48-48 and Sacramento, with the loss, 45-51.
Hallworth was effective against the Redlegs, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Sacramento to just 2 runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"I liked his command," said Baton Rouge manager Daniel Edwards. "Kane was throwing strikes."
