With center fielder Markus Anderson leading the charge, the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys defeated the Hialeah Dodos, 6-4, at Dodos Ballpark. Anderson went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Syracuse has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

With Syracuse leading 4-3 in the top of the sixth, Anderson hit a run-scoring single off Hialeah hurler Cooper Carroll. It was the 29th hit of the season for Anderson and put his team ahead, 5-3.
