The Sacramento Redlegs went down to defeat to Wing-chiu Che and his Baton Rouge teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Brass. Carl Keller earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 3-1. The 6th-place Brass raised their record to 47-47.
The result might have been different for Baton Rouge, had it not been for Cam Nicholson, the 28-year old right fielder . Nicholson stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Baton Rouge up, 3-2. For the game, he had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Che.
