Salt Lake City Makes It 14 Straight, Barely
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz racked up a win at Spirits Stadium, bumping off the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-3. Masao Myoga, who started for Salt Lake City, pitched effectively for his team. Salt Lake City reliever Robinson Espinoza picked up the win to move to 2-2. Félix Hernández suffered the loss. After today's action, Salt Lake City sits at 53-30, while Sacramento falls to 39-44.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Redlegs allowed the Buzz to score the winning run.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Sahagún said.
