Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys starter Michael Galloway turned in a top-notch performance against the Baton Rouge Brass at The Zoo in Syracuse. The result was a win for the Squirrel Monkeys, 2-1. Harold Hunter, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save.

Takeshi Kovacs chipped in for Syracuse with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
