Humpbacks Defeat Redlegs, 3-1
|
In a tight affair between the Alaskan Humpbacks and the Sacramento Redlegs, pitcher Mainio Kyyro was in the zone. The Alaskan right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Poom Saksansin nailed down his 4th save. Alaskan is now 44-34, Sacramento 36-42.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fourth inning, when the Humpbacks were trailing 1-0. Norberto Carrillo delivered a two-out 2-run double for Alaskan, catapulting his team into the lead.
"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Carrillo told the Alaskan Citizen.
