Starks Lose to Reserves in Walk Off
Behind an impressive start by Tom Johnston, Athletic Club KC beat Syracuse, 3-2. Logan Heck, now 5-4, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. The 4th-place Reserves raised their record to 42-35.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the 11th, with Athletic Club KC trailing 2-1, Robert Shannon jumped on a 1-2 fastball from Hendrikjan Zweers for a 2-run home run, sending the Reserves to a walk-off win.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Roy Clay, the Athletic Club KC manager.
