The Hialeah Dodos topped the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 7-5, in USPL Triple A action at The Zoo in Syracuse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hialeah left fielder Tony Parra. Jack Elvidge was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 7 save opportunities. With the win over Syracuse, the Dodos improved to 28-47.

Parra had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Dodos went on to win.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Parra.
