Reserves Sink Humpbacks, 7-5

The performance of Rylen Roersma proved critical in helping Athletic Club KC beat Alaskan, 7-5. The Reserves first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Lúcio Colón. His record is now 5-2. The right-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits for the Reserves. Earning his 13th save for Athletic Club KC was Logan Heck.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Steve Chittick had a game-changing hit. The Reserves right fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Hubert Johnson, making the score 7-5, Athletic Club KC.
