Dodos Roll to 8-3 Win Over Reserves
The Hialeah Dodos topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 8-3, in USPL Triple A action at Dodos Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Hialeah pitcher and West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, native Mark Taylor. The Dodos raised their record to 26-41.

The Reserves had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Dodos going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old shortstop Lee Montgomery came to the plate. Montgomery hit a 2-run home run on a 1-2 splitter from Athletic Club KC hurler Lúcio Colón. It was Montgomery's 8th home run of the year.

Taylor said his team "played with focus."
